Why should you attend this District Conference?
You will be exposing yourself to a positive environment, increasing your knowledge, while refreshing your perspective and interacting with others who, like you, are committed to self-improvement. These include Alfred Herzing, President of Toastmasters International, and Bob Khan, from Phoenix Fire Department, who is this year's Communication & Leadership Award recipient.

What can you take away from this conference?
Techniques award winning speakers use to develop dynamic speeches from Ed Tate, Brian Cavanaugh, Paul Schnabel, and Ann Louise Hall. Leadership "best practices" that work in your club and any organization you may lead - ethics, planning, motivation, and career fitness from Dr. Pat Gangi, Dr. Tom Ollerman, Carol Poore, Marian Sjostrom, and TM President Alfred Herzing. Plus a panel discussion about "How to be A Distinguished Club" and insights about "Speechcraft" from Judy Sutor. All this for just $15.

Are there special events for club officers?
YES! At the District Council meeting your club President and VP Education have the opportunity to represent your club, network With other District 3 leaders, and conduct District business. Any Toastmaster can observe the District Council meeting and attend the Leadership Brunch and Workshop on Sunday morning. Some clubs reimburse the expenses of officers who attend these meetings.
